Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks visit LeBron James and the Lakers on Saturday afternoon, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 3:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Spectrum SportsNet (LAL) and Fox Sports Southeast (ATL).

The Lakers have won four consecutive games, and have covered the spread in seven of their last eight games. The Hawks are playing their best basketball of the season, and are currently on a seven-game winning streak.

Kris Dunn, De’Andre Hunter and Cam Reddish are out for the Hawks, while Anthony Davis and Jared Dudley are out for the Lakers.

Advice and prediction

These teams have already met once this season, with the Lakers winning 107-99 in Atlanta on February 1st. The Hawks have been playing at a high level, but it’s important to note that they’ve also taken advantage of an easy stretch of the schedule, with six of their last seven wins coming against teams with losing records.

The best bet for Saturday, though, is on the total. The under has cashed in 63 percent of Lakers games, the best mark in the league, and under bets are 22-19 in Hawks games this season. Both the Lakers and Hawks rank among the bottom half of teams in terms of pace, and I think we’re going to see a similar scoreline as the first meeting. Take the under 219.5.

Prediction: Lakers 111, Hawks 101
