Rodney Hood warms our hearts as a Game 3 virtual fan

Rip City and the Portland Trail Blazers could use a bright spot right about now after falling 116-108 in game three to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Once again, Rodney Hood pulls through.

With the NBA restart in Orlando, Florida, fans have the ability to join in virtually to the game to cheer on their home squad.

On Saturday in game three of this Western Conference first round playoff series, Hoodie was spotted in the crowd.

As the Trail Blazers are battling it out with the Lakers in Orlando, Hoodie is continuing his rehab after suffering a torn Achilles back on December 6, 2019.

It is super heartwarming to see videos surfacing on social media of Hoodie working out and rehabbing the injury.

The Trail Blazers then looked to free agency to replace Hood and signed Trevor Ariza in mid January, but Ariza decided to opt out of the restart. Hoodie and Ariza are the only two roster players to not travel to Orlando.

With L.A. taking a 2-1 lead in the series on Saturday night, just imagine if the Trail Blazers had a full roster to utilize including Hoodie and Ariza.

Game four tips off at 6 PM (PT) on Tuesday, August 24 on NBC Sports Northwest.
